DreamworX Media is a project group who have a passion to create new media. This is ofcourse a very broad term for anything that can go digital, you can think of website concepts, or just seperate scripts. But also things like imaging, video and sound productions.
Since 1999 DreamworX started as a school project group. In the years past we have built up a name which stands for innovation and education. The main goal of every DreamworX project still remains education. We just like to educate ourselves with existing and new types of media and technology which makes everyones life just a bit easier or a bit more fun.
Although there are many ideas, the group of developers is still rather small, this is also the reason our projects sometimes stay in the pipeline for a very long time. We all have a job and create everything in our spare time just as a hobby.
But once a project gets presented to the public you can expect a product which will be maintained as long as there is an interest for it and which has been created with the greatest care by people who want to create something that is open and good enough for anyone.
We hope you enjoy and maybe even learn a thing or two yourself from our projects, and if you would like to give us some feedback that is more than welcome.
Techniques
Currently we are using a lot of free techniques which make the web such a rich environment. Below we will list a few of them:

MySQL - Our main database system for storing, manipulating and retrieving data. You can checkout more MySQL info on http://www.mysql.com

PHP - A free web language, thanks to it's great documentation and open character our main choice for web development. More info on PHP development can be found at http://www.php.net

W3C Standards - We must admit that standardizing our projects usually comes in the final stages though it doesn't mean that we don't value these standards. We believe that if these standards were taken seriously by every developer who has something to do with web, the web itself would become a 200% better place for everyone. More info on the W3C can be found on http://www.w3.org/

Xajax Framework - Xajax is a class based framework for making AJAX really work on your website. Whenever we require an AJAX task we quickly grab this great framework to lift our productivity up to a higher level. You can check the Xajax Framework website at http://xajaxproject.org/
